Portsmouth sign Carl Dickinson on loan from Watford

Portsmouth have re-signed Watford defender Carl Dickinson on a one-month loan deal.

Dickinson, 25, spent a season on loan at Pompey in 2010-11 before completing a permanent move to Watford from Stoke.

He also had loan spells at Blackpool, Leeds and Barnsley.

"It's an exciting move. I found out on Friday that Pompey were interested and it was a no-brainer for me," said Dickinson. "I wasn't getting a chance at Watford and I needed games."
