Dungannon Swifts 1-1 Lisburn Distillery

A controversial finish saw Dungannon Swifts and Lisburn Distillery sharing the spoils at Stangmore Park.

Distillery's Scott Davidson and Michael Halliday both hit the woodwork in quick succession in the first half.

Halliday saw a second-half penalty saved by Niall Morgan before Scott Davidson put the Whites ahead on 88.

But Ryan Harpur levelled in injury-time although both sets of players appeared to have stopped, in the expectation that a penalty was about to be awarded.

Dungannon's Stephen O'Neill went close early on but the Whites were inches away from taking the lead on 26 as Davidson volleyed against the crossbar with Halliday heading the rebound against a post.

There were further chances at either end before the break as O'Neill was denied by Whites keeper Billy Byrne and Halliday went close.

The Whites felt that they should have had a penalty when Philip Simpson appeared to be upended but a spot-kick was then awarded for handball.

However, Morgan saved Halliday's penalty and also reacted brilliantly to block the follow-up.

Distillery looked to have snatched three points two minutes from time as Davidson's superb half-volley beat Morgan.

But then came the late controversy as Harpur headed an equaliser in the third minute of injury-time after both sets of players appeared to have stopped, thinking that a whistle had been blown for a penalty.
