Kilmarnock contest Cammy Bell red card

A Scottish FA fast track tribunal will review the red card shown to Kilmarnock goalkeeper Cammy Bell.

The keeper was sent off after being judged to have fouled Ross Draper in the penalty box during Saturday's 2-1 defeat by Inverness CT.

But the Ayrshire side have now lodged an appeal against the decision made by referee Euan Norris and a verdict will be given on Thursday.

Billy McKay's converted spot-kick proved to be the winner at Rugby Park.

Killie boss Kenny Shiels, who has made an official complaint about the conduct Norris, believes Bell was treated harshly.

The Ayrshire club have viewed their own video footage of the match and BBC Scotland highlights and think that Bell's innocence can be proved.

Norris awarded two penalties to the visitors, with Bell saving the first.

Kilmarnock thought they should have had a penalty award themselves when Rory McKenzie was upended in the box, but Norris waved away the claims.

Shiels reported Norris for what he felt were "disrespectful" remarks after the match ended.

"I shook hands with him after the match and I didn't say one word to him and he came out with a sarcastic retort to me and I've just reported him," he said.
