Ghana will hold talks with Manchester City over a deal to allow them to tap into the English champions' coaching and marketing expertise.

Ghana Football Association president Kwesi Nyantekyi will meet officials at the Etihad Stadium this weekend.

"They have invited us to discuss coaching and exchange programs, player development, camping and commercial opportunities," Nyantekyi said.

It would be the first deal of its kind between the Ghana FA and a club side.

Nyantekyi, who will be accompanied on the trip by Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah, revealed that as part of the proposed deal, Ghana would send coaches to City for attachment programs and have technical men from the club visit Ghana regularly to hold clinics.

"Manchester City is one of the best. We admire the way they have transformed football in England," he added.

"There is a lot of expertise and money there that we can leverage into."
