Former Lisburn Distillery player Andrew Waterworth scores twice to give Glentoran a 2-0 victory over bottom side Distillery

Glentoran are up to fifth in the Premiership thanks to Andy Waterworth's double against Distillery.

The former Whites striker had already gone close before lobbing keeper Lee Windrum for a 17th minute opener.

Waterworth doubled the lead 11 minutes later with a backpost tap-in after Martin Murray's cross was defelcted into his path.

Jordan Forsyth fired over for the basement club while a fine Windrum save denied Waterworth his hat-trick.

Windrum kept out Waterworth's first effort at New Grosvenor after four minutes as the east Belfast visitors took control of the game.

Distillery rarely threatened and Tim McCann's side remain in bottom spot although level on points with Donegal Celtic.
