AFC Telford to appoint new chairman to help managing director

AFC Telford United are to appoint a new chairman to help take the workload off Lee Carter, who is to take on the role of managing director.
The splitting of Carter's role illustrates the Bucks' growth since their reformation eight years ago.
"I will continue to be right at the heart of the club," said Carter.
"But it is vital that we conduct a process which finds the right person who can bring additional energy to the board and help us deliver our vision."
Since becoming chairman when the Bucks reformed in May 2004, Carter has overseen three promotions in seven seasons - and seven consecutive years of profit.
