Irish Premiership: Lisburn Distillery 3-3 Donegal Celtic

All the goals came in the second half as Ciaran Gargan's injury-time strike earned Donegal Celtic a point in the basement Premiership battle.

The deadlock wasn't broken until Ryan Deans fired DC ahead on 54.

Scott Davidson levelled on 61 and Ryan McCann's 35-yard free-kick then put Distillery ahead on 66.

Paul McVeigh scrambled in an equaliser on 70 but Jordan Hughes' 90th-minute penalty appeared to have sealed a Whites win before Gargan's equaliser.

Michael Halliday headed a Whites chance over in the first half while a Dermot McVeigh corner almost deceived Distillery keeper Billy Brennan at the other end in the first half.

However, Deans struck Celtic ahead on 54 minutes as Brennan was unable to hold onto the DC man's shot.

But the west Belfast side's lead only lasted seven minutes as Davidson fired home after a tremendous ball by Hughes.

McCann's thumping free-kick put the Whites ahead on 66 but Paul McVeigh levelled for DC four minutes later.

Hughes appeared to have won it for the Whites in the 90th minute as he slotted a penalty but Gargan snatched a crucial point for Celtic with his 93rd-minute leveller.

A Whites victory would have moved them off the bottom and put DC in the basement position but Gargan's goal keeps Celtic two points ahead of Tim McCann's side.
