Carlo Cudicini: Spurs goalkeeper leaves for LA Galaxy

Goalkeeper Carlo Cudicini has left Tottenham to sign for Los Angeles Galaxy on a free transfer.
The Italian, 39, joined Spurs on a free transfer, external from Chelsea in January 2009, making 37 appearances in four years.
Cudicini moved to Chelsea in 1999 from Castel di Sangro, winning the Premier League twice, but has largely been backup to first-choices Heurelho Gomes and Brad Friedel at White Hart Lane.
A Tottenham statement read:, external "We wish Carlo all the best for the future."
Galaxy head coach and general manager Bruce Arena said: "We are delighted to be able to add Carlo Cudicini to our roster.
"Carlo is an experienced and accomplished goalkeeper, who we believe will be a great addition to our team and our defensive unit."
