Middlesbrough: Connor Ripley signs new three-year deal

Middlesbrough goalkeeper Connor Ripley has signed a new three-year contract, committing him to the Riverside until the summer of 2015.

The England Under-19 international made his full debut in March 2011, and has since made two appearances for the Teessiders' first team.

"I'm so happy to have signed," Ripley, son of former Boro winger Stuart, told the club website.

"I'm looking forward to the next three years and pushing on."

Ripley, 19, is one of three goalkeepers at the Riverside, along with first-choice Jason Steele and Austrian back-up Jayson Leutwiler.
