Matt Derbyshire: Blackpool sign Nottingham Forest striker on loan

Nottingham Forest striker Matt Derbyshire has joined Blackpool on loan for the rest of the season.

The 26-year-old scored on loan at Oldham this season, and they had hoped to take him back to Boundary Park for another spell.

However, Derbyshire has decided to remain in the Championship and could feature against Wolves on Saturday.

"It's a massive chance," he told the club website. "I thank Steve Thompson [caretaker boss] for bringing me here."
