Alfreton sign Stephen Hewitt from Burnley

Alfreton Town manager Nicky Law has signed midfielder Steven Hewitt on loan from Championship club Burnley until the end of the season.

The 19-year-old began his career at Blackburn Rovers and Stockport County before signing a two-year scholarship with the Clarets in 2010.

He signed his first professional contract in October 2011.

Hewitt made his first-team debut in April 2012 and has made a total of two appearances so far.
