Ballinamallard United move into fifth spot in the league with a 4-0 victory over Dungannon Swifts at Ferney Park

Ballinamallard are just one win away from being sure of a top-six finish after Jason McCartney's hat-trick in an emphatic home victory over Dungannon.

McCartney ran on to Gareth Liggett's free-kick to shoot a 24th-minute opener past Swifts keeper Tuda Murphy.

The United man made it 2-0 on 62 minutes and then netted his third with a dipping shot from about 25 yards.

Striker Andy Crawford raced through to score Ballinamallard's fourth goal three minutes from the end.

Whitey Anderson's Mallards, in their first season in the Premiership, move up to fifth as Coleraine were beaten at home by Crusaders.
