Dungannon Swifts and Donegal Celtic play out a 0-0 draw at Stangmore Park

Donegal Celtic remain two points clear of bottom club Lisburn Distillery after this dull Premiership draw against Dungannon Swifts at Stangmore Park.

DC were back in action for this first time since effectively being hit by a six-point penalty for fielding ineligible Sean Cleary in the recent game against the Whites.

Cleary went closest to scoring in the first half as he hit the woodwork.

Matt Hazley blazed a great chance wide for the Swifts late in the game.

Hazley was set up by James Costello, who himself had tested DC keeper John Connolly a couple of minutes earlier.

DC had the better of the first half as Mark Miskimmin and Stephen O'Neill were denied by Swifts keeper Johnny Curran.

Cleary rattled the foot of a Dungannon upright in first-half injury time with a low drive from 25 yards.
