Lee Clark: Birmingham players 'too excited' after Palace win

Lee Clark has criticised the attitude of his Birmingham team during the first half of Monday's 3-2 defeat to Wolves.
The Blues won 4-0 at Crystal Palace last Friday, but were three goals down after just 37 minutes in the Black Country derby at St Andrews.
"Maybe the players were thinking it's too easy after all the plaudits from Friday's result," Clark told BBC WM.
"Good players and teams are consistent because they move on and get on with the job - you can't get too excited."
The Blues manager continued: "It was starting to worry me because people were still talking about it on the morning of the game when it was long gone."
Consecutive wins over Derby, Middlesbrough and Palace had lifted Birmingham to 11th in the Championship ahead of the game with Wolves.
Victory would have left them just five points from the play-off positions, but because the league is so compacted, they now sit only five points above the relegation zone.
"We didn't do the ugly side; it was all so easy for them," Clark continued.
"There was no pressure, we won no second balls - people weren't doing their jobs, it's as simple as that.
"Wolves didn't have a shot in the second half because we didn't let them, but why not do that for the whole game?
"It's a huge opportunity missed and we had chances to get something form the game, but after the first half I think we got what we deserved."
