Crusaders defender McKeown placed on transfer list

Crusaders defender Gareth McKeown has been placed on the transfer list at his own request.

The 29-year-old former Lisburn Distillery right-back has cited personal reasons for his desire to leave Seaview.

Crusaders have "reluctantly" made McKeown, who joined Stephen Baxter's side from Portadown in 2008, availalable to other clubs.

McKeown had one year remaining on his contract with the north Belfast club.
