Leon Clowes agrees new one-year Wrexham contract

Defender Leon Clowes has signed a new one-year contract with Conference Premier side Wrexham.

The 21-year-old, who spent part of last season on loan at Vauxhall Motors, has made five first team appearances for Wrexham.

"All I want to do is play football and do my little bit to get Wrexham out of this league," Clowes said., external

"I got into the side for the last four league games and hopefully showed the boss what I can do."

Wrexham have also offered new contracts to Dean Keates, Martin Riley, Johnny Hunt, Joe Clarke and Stephen Wright.

Andy Coughlin, Jay Colbeck, Anthony Stephens and Steve Tomassen have also been offered new deals.
