Bradford City are a big-game team - Gary Jones

Bradford captain Gary Jones says his side can produce another big performance in Saturday's League Two play-off final.

The League Cup runners-up overturned a two-goal deficit against Burton Albion in the last four to reach a second Wembley final this season.

"The whole season rests on one game and we've come through these huge matches before," he told BBC Look North.

"The League Cup was a one-off but then we went and did it against Burton too."

Bradford knocked out three Premier League teams before losing to Swansea at Wembley in February.

Wigan, Arsenal and Aston Villa were victims of the League Two side in the League Cup as they became the first club for 51 years to reach the final whilst playing in the Football League's basement division.

This is the sixth season the Bantams have spent in England's fourth tier but they were a Premier League club as recently as 2001.

"I'm probably more nervous now than when we played Swansea to be honest," added Jones.

"We had nothing to lose last time but now it's the complete opposite with everything hanging on it.

"But we had our backs against the wall against Burton. Managed to get within a goal in the first leg and then win away at the team with the best home record in the league."

A crowd of around 60,000 is estimated for Saturday's clash with Northampton and Bradford supporters are expected to outnumber their opponents despite having around 150 miles further to travel.

City have averaged home attendances of over 10,000 this season whereas the Cobblers have struggled to attract half that amount.

"It's our 64th game of the season but nobody needs motivating to play in the showstopper in front of 60,000 at Wembley.

"I've never seen support like Bradford have. They follow us everywhere and always get behind us.

"[Manager] Phil Parkinson said to me before I signed that if we could create a winning mentality and win promotion then we'd be heroes in this city.

"It's that that spurs us on to achieve what so many people have failed to."
