Conference Premier side Dartford have completed the signings of Kenny Clark and Max Cornhill from Chelmsford City.
Former Dagenham youngster and Thurrock captain Clark, 24, made 43 appearances in the Chelmsford defence in 2012-13.
Midfielder Cornhill, 26, joined the Clarets in May 2011 and scored three goals in 39 appearances this season.
"We've targeted a number of players to bring in and hopefully these two are the first of many," Darts boss Tony Burman told BBC Radio Kent.
He added: "Kenny is a centre-half who is a winner and a player I want to work with. At 24 he is a good prospect and he wants to play at the highest level he can.
"Max is an attacking midfielder player who has a good pedigree at a lower level and I think he will be able to do well.
"We have to target players who are at a lower level and ones we feel will benefit from coming to us."
