West Brom have released winger Jerome Thomas and defender Gonzalo Jara, but Zoltan Gera may stay at the club.

Thomas and Jara both spent time out on loan in 2012-13, at , external and Nottingham Forest respectively.

Gera, who has not played since a knee injury ended his season in January, is out of contract this summer but the club plan talks with the Hungarian.

Negotiations are also under way over a new deal for right-back Steven Reid, who is out of contract next month.

Sporting and technical director Richard Garlick said: "Steven's an important figure both on and off the field.

"Zoltan's situation is a little different in that he is recovering from a serious injury.

"We plan to hold talks with him later this summer and he will continue to have our full support in his efforts to regain full fitness."

The club have yet to decide whether to offer striker Marc-Antoine Fortune a new contract, while Goran Popov's season-long loan from Dynamo Kiev has ended.
