Central defender Fraser Kerr has signed a two-year deal with Scottish Premier League club Motherwell.
The Scotland under-21 international spent last season at Fir Park, on loan from Birmingham City.
The 20-year-old's contract with the Blues has expired and he has re-joined first club 'Well.
"When I was up on loan last season, I knew this is the place I wanted to be when my contract at Birmingham City expired," said Kerr.
"My aim is to try to establish myself as a first-team player," the defender told Motherwell's official website.
"The second half of last season was interrupted by injuries so I am hoping to stay injury free and play some more regularly this season."
Faroese goalkeeper Gunnar Nielsen has also arrived at Fir Park for a medical and talks over a proposed move.
Nielsen, 26, who counts Blackburn and Manchester City among his former clubs, spent part of season 2008-09 on loan at Motherwell.
