Adebayo Akinfenwa 'completes Gillingham options' - Schofield

Gillingham assistant manager John Schofield says the signing of Adebayo Akinfenwa completes their range of striking options.
The 31-year-old joins Adam Birchall, Antonio German, Danny Kedwell and Myles Weston at Priestfield.
"Any two or three of those five is an exciting combination," Schofield told BBC Radio Kent.
"We've got a a mixture of power, strength, pace, movement and fox in the box. We've got everything."
He added: "It's no secret that we've got a good recipe. It's now just a question of improving the ingredients we have got.
"We identify players we think are going to improve the squad. Bayo fits into that category and he is a great signing for us.
"It gives us a lot of opportunities to adjust what we are trying to do and win games."
With Birchall transfer listed by Gills manager Martin Allen, Schofield has hinted former Northampton man Akinfenwa may not be the last forward the League Two champions sign this summer.
"The gaffer has done the squad list and left the number 10 spare," Schofield said.
"He has probably got something up his sleeve. Who that is and when that is, who knows? But there is certainly room for another player to come in."
