Swindon have signed Tottenham's Alex Pritchard and Nathan Byrne.

Midfielder Pritchard, 20, has agreed a season-long loan, while right-back Byrne has joined on a permanent two-year contract.

Swindon have paid an undisclosed fee for the 21-year-old, who spent time on loan at the County Ground last season.

Meanwhile, former footballer Lee Power and economist Sangita Shah have joined the board of directors at the League One club.

Former Norwich and Peterborough striker Power has been working for Swindon since April, but has now been confirmed as a board member.

He has previously held backroom roles at Luton, Cambridge and now defunct Rushden & Diamonds.

Shah has previously worked in business and is also a former president of the Chartered Institute of Journalists.

She told BBC Wiltshire: "My passion, on a non-business footing, has always been football.

"I met with Jed [McCrory, chairman] and he's a very transparent chap. He enshrined his vision for the club and I found myself in a situation where I could help him fulfil that vision."

Swindon were taken over in February by a consortium led by McCrory - a friend of Power - after previous owner Andrew Black put the club up for sale.
