Cosafa Cup: Zimbabwe beat Malawi on penalties

Zimbabwe are through to the Cosafa Cup semi-finals after beating Malawi on penalties following a 1-1 draw after normal time in Kitwe on Saturday.
Ocean Mushure hit the winning spot-kick for four-time title winners Zimbabwe, who were 3-1 victors in the shoot-out.
In normal time, Zimbabwe were first to strike when Masimba Mambare tapped in a rebound from Mushure's cross to open the scoring after only 13 minutes.
Malawi had James Sangala sent off for a second bookable offence just before half-time, damaging The Flames' hopes of a comeback.
But on 85 minutes, Boniface Kaulesi scored an equaliser, and with no extra-time in the quarter-finals matches the game went straight to penalties at the end of 90 minutes.
However, Zimbabwe took advantage as Malawi missed their opening kick and went on to miss two more, while The Warriors scored all but one of their four kicks to book their place in the last four of the competition.
