Port Vale and Brentford played out an end-to-end stalemate in League One.

Shaleum Logan put the visitors ahead with a fine solo goal, cutting in from the right to fire into the corner with his left foot.

Vale captain Doug Loft replied shortly afterwards with a low strike from the edge of the area.

Clayton Donaldson hit the crossbar with a chip for the Bees, before being foiled by the impressive Daniel Jones when through on goal.

Brentford boss Uwe Rosler content with Port Vale draw

Brentford boss Uwe Rosler told BBC London 94.9:

"It was a possible banana skin for us today, it was a massive and sticky pitch and it didn't suit our style. But I felt we controlled the game and concentration cost us three points.

"I felt our offensive play was very good but we didn't test the keeper in the second half enough, but when you see our potential going forward, it's frightening.

"Port Vale are a difficult side to beat and many teams will have problems here but if you can't win, make sure you don't lose."
