Blackpool manager Paul Ince has been fined £3,000 by the Football Association for comments made following the club's League Cup exit at Preston.
Ince admitted the FA's charge that he "called into question the integrity of the match referee and/or implied that the match referee was motivated by bias; and/or brought the game into disrepute."
Blackpool lost the match 1-0.
His son, Thomas, received a two-match ban for an incident in the same game.
The winger, 21, admitted making a gesture towards a match official, which was not seen at the time but was caught on video.
