Glentoran and Coleraine play out an opening day 1-1 draw at the Oval.

Coleraine fought back to earn a 1-1 draw against Glentoran after conceding a penalty in the first half.

Jim O'Hanlon scored the 24th-minute opener from the spot after he had been sent crashing by Aaron Canning.

Jimmy Callacher thought he had bundled in a second for the Glens but the effort was disallowed for a foul while David Scullion fluffed a good chance.

The Bannsiders equalised on 72 minutes when substitute Shane Jennings headed in from a Canning cross.

Coleraine had a goal by Joel Bradley ruled out for offside.

Then Glens new boy Jordan Hughes, signed from Lisburn Distillery, was denied by new Coleraine goalkeeper Wayne Drummond.
