MK Dons 2-2 Bristol City

Sam Baldock's double earned a point for Bristol City at unbeaten MK Dons.

Baldock, who began his senior career with the Dons, opened the scoring when he lashed a shot into the top corner.

Patrick Bamford equalised when he latched on to a Luke Chadwick pass and drilled the ball home.

Baldock's fifth of the season restored City's lead when he ran on to a long ball and slotted in, but winger Samir Carruthers' first-time strike salvaged a point for the Dons.

"We feel that we've got a lot more to come. There's a lot of quality in this group, a lot of determination, and there's a lot of hunger.

"We hassled them and we hurried them, but we just couldn't unlock the door. I don't think they had a good day either, it was just stale.

"The football that led to the goals was tremendous, the finishing was phenomenal. The thing that's fantastic for me is when you see two loan players scoring and celebrating like it really matters to them.

"I thought our fans were magnificent again, what they're seeing is a patched-up MK Dons team playing in the MK Dons way, but on top of that, with so much hunger and desire to not let them down."
