Irish Premiership: Glenavon 2-2 Coleraine

A goal by substitute Joel Bradley two minutes into added time at the end of a see-saw game secured a point for winless Coleraine against Glenavon.

Summer signing Gary Browne put Coleraine ahead with a low shot from outside the box after six minutes.

Guy Bates fired an effort across Wayne Drummond for an equaliser against the run of play in the 42nd minute.

David Rainey curled a shot into the top corner from 20 yards on 83 before Bradley tapped into an empty net.

The Lurgan Blues began the game without injury victims Gareth McKeown and Grant Gardiner but William Murphy and Mark Farren passed fitness tests and made the starting line-up.

Rainey was given his first start of the season, with Mark Patton dropping to the bench.

Former Lisburn Distillery and Linfield striker Browne was allowed too much space as he slotted home the early opener past Andy Coleman.

Rainey played the ball into the path of Bates, who levelled three minutes before the interval.

Rainey made amends by putting his new club in front with a left-foot effort after his initial shot had been blocked.

Just when the home side appeared to have secured their second win of the season, Bradley had the simple task of finding the net after good work by Jennings.

Coleraine could have grabbed all three points as Coleman made a point blank save from a Tommons snapshot in the dying seconds.
