Former Aldershot, Oxford and Mansfield defender Rhys Day has come out of retirement to join Hyde.

The 31-year-old quit the game in 2012 after a series of knee injuries, but has successfully come through a special training regime with the Tigers.

Centre-back Day, a Wales Under-21 international, has not made a senior appearance since February 2011.

Hyde are second from bottom of the Conference Premier table, with just two points from their first seven matches.
