Adam Lockwood: Bury allow experienced defender to leave
- Published

League Two club Bury have terminated the contract of experienced defender Adam Lockwood by mutual consent.
Lockwood joined the Shakers on a free transfer from Doncaster in July 2012 and made a total of 20 appearances.
But after a huge revamp of the Bury squad by manager Kevin Blackwell during pre-season, the 31-year-old has found first-team opportunities limited.
His only start this season came in a 3-0 victory against Accrington Stanley at Gigg Lane on 17 August.
