Ballymena United bounce back to secure point against Coleraine

Ballymena ended a run of eight straight defeats against Coleraine by coming from two goals down to earn a draw, thanks to two Johnny Taylor headers.

Eoin Bradley turned and squeezed a shot past Dwayne Nelson on 25 minutes and Stephen Carson fired home a brilliant free-kick eight minutes later.

Taylor headed in from Ally Teggart corners in the 64th and 69th minutes.

Carson hit the bar with a free-kick in the second half, while Shane Dolan was sent-off for an elbowing offence on 90.

Dolan received a straight red card after making contact with Ryan McIlmoyle.

The Sky Blues remain three points behind their derby rivals in the Premiership but are now without a win in their last six league matches of the campaign.

Their wait for a first success over the Bannsiders since October, 2009 goes on.
