Birmingham City Ladies to play their home games in Solihull

Birmingham City Ladies are to play their games next season at Damson Park, home of Solihull Moors.

Their current base at Stratford Town, their home for the past three years, does not meet the improved criteria set out by the Football Association.

Meanwhile, Birmingham's England forward Karen Carney has signed a new one-year deal with the Champions League chasers.

The 26-year-old Hall Green-raised girl is now signed up until December 2014, with a further one-year option.
