Plymouth Argyle have completed the loan signing of Bury striker Tope Obadeyi.

Pilgrims boss John Sheridan has been keen to add to his attacking options, with his team having scored the fewest goals in League Two.

The 24-year-old, who has signed at Home Park until 4 January, has made three appearances for Bury this season.

Obadeyi started at Bolton and has also been on loan at Swindon, Rochdale, Shrewsbury and Chesterfield, as well as playing for Rio Ave in Portugal.

He signed a one-year deal with the Shakers in August, but has yet to open his goalscoring account for Bury.

Argyle have scored just 10 goals in League Two this season, and striker Marvin Morgan has been ruled out for several months after undergoing shoulder surgery.

Obadeyi is expected to go straight into Argyle's squad to face Lincoln City in the first round of the FA Cup on Saturday.
