Jordan Rhodes: Blackburn Rovers striker cleared of serious injury
- Published
Blackburn striker Jordan Rhodes could face Reading next week after being cleared of a serious ankle injury.
The 23-year-old, who has scored 10 Championship goals this term, pulled out of the Scotland squad after hurting himself in training.
He returned to Rovers for treatment, with scans allaying initial concerns for the forward.
Blackburn's medical staff aim to have Rhodes fit to take on the Royals at Ewood Park on Saturday, 23 November.
It comes as a major boost just days after owner Venky's had reassured manager Gary Bowyer that the in-demand striker would not be put up for sale.
