Three goals in 15 second-half minutes earned play-off chasing Rotherham an impressive victory over Coventry.

Sky Blues captain Carl Baker saw his first-half effort blocked on the line before Steve Evans's side took hold.

Nouha Dicko guided in Ben Pringle's cross to open the scoring before Alex Revell's header doubled their lead.

The result was put beyond doubt when Dicko was brought down by Aaron Phillips in the box and Kieran Agard scored the resulting penalty.

"We came here under difficult circumstances. We've been robbed of Michael O'Connor yesterday when he had to pull out and Rob Neilsen, he had to pull out with a back spasm.

"But Michael Tidser has come in for his first start of the season and in spells was the best player on the park, other than the boy up front [Alex Revell], who was quite exceptional.

"We knew it was going to be tough here - because we're beating them 3-0 that doesn't mean they're a bad side.

"They're a very good side and you have to work very hard to beat them."
