Andres Iniesta scored his first goal of the season as Barcelona eased to victory over Granada in La Liga.

In the absence of regular penalty taker Lionel Messi, Iniesta and Cesc Fabregas both scored from the spot to give the champions a 2-0 half-time lead.

Granada defender Manuel Iturra was sent off for a second bookable offence before Alexis Sanchez chipped home.

Pedro Rodriguez added a fourth goal for the league leaders, who are six points clear of Real Madrid at the top.

Iniesta opened the scoring after Granada defender Dimitri Foulquier brought down Fabregas, before Piti hit the bar from distance for the visitors.

Fabregas scored his sixth of the campaign after Iniesta was clipped in the area by Fran Rico shortly before the break.

Sanchez was picked out by Neymar's pass to lob home a third and, after 17-year-old Ivorian forward Adama Troure replaced Neymar to make his first-team debut for Barca, Fabregas set up a simple fourth for Pedro.
