Salisbury City confirm administration exit after four years

Conference Premier outfit Salisbury City have come out of administration.
The club signed a three-year repayment plan with Revenue and Customs in 2008 to avoid being wound up.
But they were handed handed a double demotion a year later, external after missing a deadline to pay creditors.
Since then chairman William Harrison-Allan has helped restructure the club's finances and they have now fulfilled their obligations under the their Company Voluntary Arrangement.
A statement on the Whites website read:, external "Now the club's financial affairs are in order, it will shore up the underpinnings of the team, and provide a sound base to develop the squad further, promoting continued success."
Harrison-Allan was part of a consortium, alongside Chris Brammall and Jeff Hooper, who took over the Whites in the 2009-10 season.
The new owners restructured the struggling club and put midfielder Darrell Clarke in charge of first-team affairs, external, who signed youngsters to bolster their depleted squad.
Clarke led the new-look Whites back to non-league's top flight within three years of their demotion.
He has since joined Bristol Rovers' coaching team and former assistant Mikey Harris is now in charge of first-team affairs.
Salisbury are currently 10th in the Conference Premier, four points from the play-offs.
