Sheffield United 1-1 Oldham Athletic

Jose Baxter's second-half equaliser helped Sheffield United share the points with former club and fellow League One strugglers Oldham.

Oldham took just six minutes to break the deadlock when Jonson Clarke-Harris headed home Adam Rooney's cross.

United's afternoon went from bad to worse when loanee Aidy White hobbled off injured.

But striker Baxter put the hosts back on level terms with an impressive long-range free-kick just after the break.

"First half was a really good performance from the boys on the back of a disappointing one at home.

"I'm disappointed it [Blades' goal] has gone in from 40 yards.

"They're always playing for their places, it shouldn't be anything to do with Anfield, it should be the next game at Coventry."
