Brek Shea: Barnsley sign Stoke City winger on loan

Barnsley have completed the loan signing of Stoke City winger Brek Shea on a 28-day loan.

The Texas-born player is a full United States international and made his debut for his country in 2010.

Shea, 23, signed a four-and-a-half-year contract with Stoke in January 2013 for a fee of £2.5m from Major League Soccer side FC Dallas.

But he has made just three appearances for the Premier League side since his arrival at the Britannia Stadium.
