Bristol City have completed a permanent undisclosed deal for Millwall defender Karleigh Osborne.

The 25-year-old, who has started eight games for Robins on loan since October, has signed a two-and-a-half year contract with the League One club.

Ex-Brentford centre-half Osborne made just one appearance for the Lions this season before moving to Ashton Gate.

"I'm really pleased it's done and I can concentrate on Bristol City," Osborne told BBC Radio Bristol.

"I've come here and really enjoyed my time, the boys have been brilliant and the manager [Steve Cotterill] has come in and helped me as well."

Osborne made 212 appearances for the Bees, helping them League One promotion as League Two champions in 2009, before leaving to join Millwall in the summer of 2012.
