Ross County 3-0 Dundee United

Filip Kiss's double and another from debutant Yoann Arquin meant Ross County cruised to victory over a weakened Dundee United side in Dingwall.

The Slovak midfielder Kiss headed in County's first from Graham Carey's cross.

French striker Yoann Arquin opened his account in Dingwall when he tapped in from close range.

And Kiss got his fourth goal in two games with a 30-yard cracker as United go six matches without a win.

The opening stages of the game were fast paced with neither side dominating.

There were some good attacking runs from United's Gary MacKay-Steven, but as half-time approached County, with a total of six new signings on the pitch, started to build in confidence.

The deadlock was broken when Carey found space on the left wing and Kiss rose above the United defenders to head his cross beyond goalkeeper Radosław Cierzniak.

County had the ball in the net again just on the stroke of half-time but Brian McLean's effort was chalked off for offside.

Dundee United, who were without their teenage stars Ryan Gauld and John Souttar, tried hard to find an equaliser after the restart, but it was County's Arquin, who scored next from close range after being set up by fellow new signing Jordan Slew.

The Staggies scored their third after Kiss picked up the ball 30 yards away from the Dundee United goal and sent a curling ball into the top right-hand corner.

It was Kiss's fourth goal in two games and continues County's unbeaten run in 2014.

Dundee United, meanwhile, have now gone to six matches without a win.
