Hull City have recalled goalkeeper Eldin Jakupovic from his loan spell at Leyton Orient.
Tigers first-choice keeper Allan McGregor is set to serve a three-match ban after his red card against Crystal Palace on Tuesday.
Jakupovic, 29, kept three clean sheets in his four appearances for the promotion chasing O's.
He is likely to be back-up to Steve Harper during McGregor's enforced absence.
The Switzerland international was signed as a replacement for Orient number one Jamie Jones, who is currently sidelined with a back injury.
With 21-year-old Jake Larkins currently the only fit senior keeper on Orient's books, manager Russell Slade is expected to sign another before the transfer deadline on Friday.
"We'd like to thank Eldin for all his efforts here over the last few games and he's done a fantastic job," Slade said.
"It's unfortunate for us but the process of finding a replacement has already started."
