Transfer window: Morecambe sign defender Shaun Beeley

Morecambe have signed defender Shaun Beeley on a contract to the end of the season following his release by League Two rivals Fleetwood.

The 25-year-old right-back was on loan at Bury for the first half of the season, making 24 appearances.

"He is an excellent defender with a lot of experience and will certainly add to our squad," Morecambe boss Jim Bentley told the club website.

Beeley is set to make his debut in Saturday's game against Accrington.
