Leyton Orient's League One promotion push suffered a setback with a stalemate at bottom club Notts County.
It was the home side who had the better of the match, and Nathan Tyson burst through on goal after just one minute but was denied by Scott Cuthbert.
Garry Liddle's long-range strike was well saved by Eldin Jakupovic, though Chris Dagnall did force County keeper Bartosz Bialkowski into a save.
Jamal Campbell-Ryce twice went close for the Magpies as the O's struggled.
Notts County manager Shaun Derry told BBC Radio Nottingham:
"I did not ask for any miracles today, I just asked for a performance and that's what I got.
"This performance needs to be replicated between now and the end of the season, consistently.
"The atmosphere in Meadow Lane today was probably the best it has been. The crowd got behind it and we really appreciate it."
