Notts County 4-1 Carlisle United

Bottom side Notts County's relegation fight received a huge boost with a win over fellow strugglers Carlisle.

Haydn Hollis turned in from close range to open the scoring, before Gary Liddle set up Ronan Murray to double the lead.

Hollis grabbed a second after the break, heading home Alan Sheehan's free-kick before James Berrett pulled one back for Carlisle to make it 3-1.

Liddle wrapped up the victory in style with a stunning overhead kick from Mustapha Dumbuya's cross.

Despite the win, County are still five points from safety, while 21st-placed Carlisle are still a point below the line.
