Neil Lennon has played down speculation linking him with Norwich, insisting it is a "privilege" to manage Celtic.

The 42-year-old is one of the bookmakers' favourites to replace the sacked Chris Hughton at Carrow Road.

"It's always flattering to be linked with jobs," Lennon told the BBC's Match of the Day 2.

"I think the Premier League is one of the best leagues in the world but I don't want to be talking about that. I'm in a stable position at Celtic."

Lennon recently picked up his third successive league title, while the Northern Irishman has also won the Scottish Cup twice in his four seasons in charge.

"The Scottish environment is obviously not as good as the English league," he added.

"But I'm at at a great club and it's a privilege to be their manager."
