Oxford United right-back Matt Bevans will remain with the U's for a further year after the club activated a clause in his contract.
Bevans, 20, made 12 appearances for Oxford last season having joined the development squad in July.
"I'm delighted to be staying at Oxford for another year," he said. "It's a great set-up here."
Meanwhile, midfielder Andy Whing and goalkeeper Ryan Clarke are to undergo operations this summer.
Clarke will have an operation on a troublesome foot injury and is likely to miss the first month of the season.
