George Donnelly: Rochdale take up option on striker's contract

Striker George Donnelly will remain at Rochdale next season after they mutually agreed to take up the one-year option on his contract at Spotland.
The 25-year-old scored five goals in 34 appearances last term as Keith Hill's Dale were promoted to League One.
"George has been an integral part of the success that we've had this season," assistant manager Chris Beech told the club website., external
"His power, pace and presence puts fear into any opponent we play against."
Donnelly joined Rochdale in the summer of 2012 and has found the net 13 times in 82 appearances for the club.
