Scunthorpe United have handed winger Terry Hawkridge a new two-year deal.

The 24-year-old joined from Conference North side Gainsborough Trinity last June along with fellow former Barnsley youth team defender Luke Waterfall.

Waterfall, also 24, managed just three starts in his first season at Glanford Park but Hawkridge scored once in 45 League Two appearances.

The Iron finished second this term, securing an immediate return to the third tier of English football.
