Northampton Town have signed winger Kaid Mohamed on a season-long loan from League One side Port Vale.
The 29-year-old spent the end of last season on loan at Bristol Rovers, who were relegated on a dramatic final day of the League Two campaign which saw the Cobblers survive.
He has played seven times for Vale since signing a two-year deal in 2013.
"Kaid gives us pace and power and can play down the middle or wide," said assistant boss Alan Knill.
"We see Kaid coming off the left wing. When he played here for Bristol Rovers he made some great movement inside and between strikers, and when we knew he would be available we said 'let's try and get him'."
Cardiff-born Mohamed started his career in the Welsh Premier League, before joining Swindon Town in 2007.
Spells at Forest Green, Bath City, AFC Wimbeldon and Cheltenham followed, and he had a brief return to the Dons on loan last season.
